1. Information to data subjects pursuant to Article 13
The Jäger Group hereby informs you in accordance with Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in detail about the processing of your personal data.
2. Data controller pursuant to GDPR
The data controller responsible for the processing of personal data is the company of the Jäger Group, with whom you are in contact or in contractual relationships or contract-like relationships. 3. Processing of personal data
The processing of your data is necessary to fulfill contractual obligations. We process your data for the following specific purposes:

- Fulfillment of the contract
- Payment processing
- Delivery of contractually ordered products and services
- Transmission of your address data to logistics companies for the delivery of the goods

5. Duration of processing
We only process your data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the contractual obligations and to maintain the customer relationship. We comply with the statutory storage and retention periods in accordance with the provisions of the HGB and AO (maximum of 6 and 10 years).
Unless you disagree, we will use your data to maintain and enhance our business relationship to mutual benefit. Should you wish to delete your data, we will take appropriate measures without delay, provided that legal requirements are not affected and are not opposed to our doing so.
6. Transmission of your data
Transmission of your contact data in third countries may take place. However this only occurs to companies within our group to fulfill contractual obligations.
7. Your rights
According to GDPR you have the right to:
- Information about the processing of your data
- Correction or deletion of your data
- Restriction of processing (only storage possible)
- Opposition to the processing
- Data portability
- Revocation of your given consent with effect for the future
- Appeal to the supervisory authority. The supervisory authority of the state of Lower Saxony is responsible.

1. Information to applicants according to Articles 13 and 14 GDPR
The Jäger Group informs you extensively according to Articles 13 and 14 of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) about the processing of your personal data during the application process.
2. Data controller pursuant to GDPR
As a matter of principle, the controller of the processing of personal data is the group enterprise of the Jäger Group with which you are in contact or are in a contractual or contract-like relationship. 3. Processing of personal data
Collection and processing your data is necessary according to Art. 6 subparagraph 1 b) GDPR for fulfilment of contractual services or to carry out pre-contractual measures. We process your data for the following specific purposes:
- processing of your application
- in the event of an employment relationship being created, also for the performance of the employment relationship
- foundation of an employment relationship
4. Data which we receive from third parties
If we receive your data from temporary employment agencies or public profiles, e.g. on Xing SE, processing is done according to Art. 6 f) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 9 subparagraph 2 e) GDPR. There is no processing for any other purpose.
5. Categories of collected data
We process data which you provide to us on your application forms. Amongst others, these are:
- name
- address
- contact data
- references and certificates
Specific categories of personal data (e.g. health data) are processed to the extent that we are obliged to do so by law according to Art. 9 subparagraph 2 f) GDPR.
6. Duration of processing
Your application data remain stored for up to 6 months after the required apprenticeship or workplace has been provided. Directly after the provision of the apprenticeship or workplace, the data of the applicants who have not started an employment relationship are blocked for any use other than the clarification of applicants’ claims. Storage and use exceeding this only take place to the extent that you have given us or the enterprise in question in the Jäger Group your express consent to further storage of your application data or in the event of a legitimate interest of AJH and/or the enterprise in question, e.g. for a duty to provide evidence in court proceedings.
7. Transmission of your data
Forwarding of your application data to countries outside the European Union or to an international organisation has not been provided for.
8. Your rights
According to the EU-GDPR, you have the right to:
- information about the processing of your data
- rectification or erasure of your data
- objection to the processing
- data portability
- withdrawal of your consent with an affect for the future
- complaint to the data protection supervisory authority. The supervisory authority of the State of Lower Saxony is competent.
To the extent that your personal data have been collected on the basis of the controller’s legitimate interest (Art. 6 subparagraph 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR), you have the right to object to the processing. To make use of your right, an e‑mail to dataprotection@jaegergroup.com is sufficient.

1. Responsible body
This corporate website is operated jointly by the companies of the Jäger Group (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Jäger Group”, “us” or “we”).

3. Data collection and data processing
3.1. Access to our website, data security
The Jäger Group collects and stores so-called Log Files transmitted automatically by your browser:
- IP address
- Date, time
- Visited sites
- Browser
- Operating system
These data are stored for three months and afterwards deleted automatically. The collection of these data is necessary for technical reasons and e.g. for pursuing/preventing attacks on our websites. For the Jäger Group they are not assignable to you. These data will not be merged with other sources of data. Without providing your IP address, the use of the website is technically not possible.
To protect your data, this website is encrypted using TLS. Having regard to the state of the art, the costs of implementation and the nature, scope, circumstances and purposes of the processing as well as the probability of occurrence and the seriousness of the risk for the rights and liberties of natural persons, the Jäger Group will also adopt reasonable technical and organizational measures within the meaning of Art. 32 GDPR.
3.2. Cookies
3.2.1. General
If you agreed to this when visiting our website, the Jäger Group will store cookies on the storage medium of your terminal in order to make the visit of the website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions. This serves our sales interest as justified interest.
Cookies are small text files which are sent from our web server to the browser of your terminal and stored there. They include the following data:
3.3. Google Analytics
On our website only Google Analytics is used, a web analysis service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland („Google“). For this purpose, Google uses cookies that allow an analysis of your use of the website. The cookies used are described in Chapter 3.2.
Google will use these data on our order to evaluate your use of the website, to produce reports on website activities and to provide other services related to the use of the website and of the Internet. So, the use serves our sales interest as justified interest.
Google LLC, USA acts under the EU-US-Privacy Shield and is certified accordingly. According to the European Court of Justice it does not provide an adequate level of data protection based on Art. 45(3) GDPR. We have concluded the data processing contract specified by Google with Google.
To ensure an anonymized collection of IP addresses, the source text of Google Analytics was extended by the code “anonymizeIP”. Therefore, the IP addresses are only processed further in abbreviated form to prevent direct personal references. The IP address sent by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data of Google.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by making the appropriate settings in your browser. Most of the browsers are set to create and store cookies. You can set your browner to refuse the storage and use of cookies either generally or for the individual case. In this case, however, the range of functions of our website may be limited.

3.4. Embedded You Tube Videos
On our website are embedded YouTube videos. The provider of the corresponding plugins and the associated website under https://www.youtube.com is Google Ireland (see 3.3). YouTube is a service of Google.
Hereby we use the extended data protection mode offered by Google that prevents the automatic setting of cookies. Please note, that you can only see the videos if you agree to the setting of cookies via the banner of our website.
If you click to see a YouTube video, a connection to Google servers will be established. This provides Google with information from which website you click on the video. If you are logged in to the YouTube account, YouTube can assign your surfing behavior related to you personally. You can prevent that by logging out from your YouTube account before.
If a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies with which information to your user behavior are collected. YouTube may also display plugins of third-party providers via which you can link or share videos. The Jäger Group has no influence on these services and the related data collection by Google.

3.5. LinkedIn Insight Tag
Our website uses the conversion tool “LinkedIn Insight Tag” by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland. This tool creates a cookie in your web browser, which enables the collection of the following data, among others: IP address, device and browser properties and page events (e.g. page views). This data is encrypted, anonymized within seven days and the anonymized data is deleted within 90 days.
LinkedIn does not share any personal data with us, but rather offers anonymized reports on the target group and the performance. In addition, LinkedIn offers the option of retargeting via the Insight Tag. With the help of this data, the Jaeger Group can display targeted advertising outside of its website without you being identified.

4. Contact
4.1 Contact form
Via the link “Contact” you have the possibility to send us a message. After clinking on this link, you are requested to fill out an online form with your data. The data fields marked with an asterisk (*) are compulsory fields and serve to process your request and to give you a feedback. This takes place depending on your position as interested party or contact person of a customer to perform pre-contractual actions or to execute a contract. The other data can be given voluntary and are used, if entered, also to process your request with subsequent feedback.
If this mandatory information is not provided, you will not receive a feedback to your request. The non-provision of voluntary information is without effect.
4.2 Newsletter
To receive the newsletter offered on our website, you can register using our form. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure. Here, a confirmation email will first be sent to your specified email address with the request for confirmation. The registration only becomes effective if you click on the activation link contained in the confirmation email. We use the data you transmit to us exclusively for sending the newsletter, which may contain information or offers.
We use rapidmail to send our newsletter. Your data will therefore be transmitted to rapidmail GmbH. Rapidmail GmbH is prohibited from using your data for purposes other than sending the newsletter. Rapidmail GmbH is not permitted to pass on or sell your data. Rapidmail is a German, certified newsletter software provider, which has been carefully selected according to the requirements of the GDPR and the German Privacy Laws. We have also signed a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with rapidmail.
You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, e.g. via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter.
4.3 Hubspot
This is an integrated software solution that we use to implement activities of our online marketing. These are:

In doing so, we process the following data:
- Name, e‑mail address, position
The legal basis for processing your data to send the whitepaper via Hubspot is Art. 6 (1) a) DSGVO — your consent.
Furthermore, to improve the user experience on our website, we use HubSpot’s live chat for sending and receiving messages on some subpages. Upon consent and use of this function, the following data is transmitted to HubSpot’s servers:
- Content of all chat messages sent and received.
- Context information (e.g. page where the chat was used).
- Optional: your contact information such as email address or phone number (if provided by you via chat function)
We have concluded a corresponding order processing agreement with Hubspot.
The legal basis for the use of Hubspot’s services is Art. 6 (1) f) DSGVO — legitimate interest. Our legitimate interest in using this service is to improve our service quality on the website.

4.4 Webinars
A webinar is comparable to a face-to-face seminar and takes place over the Internet with the help of computers and software. You can take part in a Jäger Group webinar if you have previously registered on the seminar platform (see below) using the link sent to you. The following data is requested for registration: first name, surname and email address.
The Jäger Group uses the GoToWebinar software solution from LogMeIn, Inc. to be able to conduct webinars over the Internet. LogMeIn, Inc. is the controller for the provision of this service and the associated data processing. LogMeIn’s privacy policy can be found here. For the order-related implementation of the webinar, we transmit your registration or customer data to LogMeIn, Inc.
During and after the webinar is held, statistical data is transmitted to the Jäger Group. If you take part in a webinar, ask or answer a question during the webinar, in addition to your registration data, we will receive information about the duration of participation, interest in the webinar, the question asked or answer for further customer service or expansion of the user experience.
An encrypted connection is established between you and the webinar organizer. The audio or video information transmitted during this session is not recorded by us. By clicking on “Participate”, you confirm that you will not make any recordings or screenshots of this session either.
You can end the session at any time by simply closing the browser window or by closing the program or app. If your contact person ends the session, your participation in the session is automatically ended.
5. Job offers and application forms
5.1. Career
When clicking on the link „Career“ and „Vacancies” you have the possibility to inform yourself about actual job offers at the Arnold Jäger Holding GmbH or another company of the Jäger Group.
The data processing is performed by Arnold Jäger Holding GmbH and the company of the Jäger Group that offers the job. If the company is situated in a country outside the EU and the EEA, then the Jäger Group shall ensure, based on the legally provided protective measures (e.g. binding corporate data protection provisions acc. to Art. 47 GDPR) that an adequate data protection level is in place at the company. All rights that are given to you under this privacy statement, in particular the rights pursuant to point 10, apply also to the respective company of the Jäger Group that offers the job. When receiving your application, all data are used to examine and assess your application and to execute the application procedure; thus, they are used for pre-contractual purposes and, if appropriate, for the conclusion of a contract of employment relationship. Your email address is required to acknowledge the receipt of your application immediately. Contact data, including the possibly indicated telephone number are used to get into contact with you e.g. in order to arrange an interview.
Your applicant data are stored up to 6 months after allocation of the wanted training and/or job position. Immediately after allocation of the training and/or job position, the data of the applicants who were not considered are locked for any other use other than for clarification of applicants’ claims. Any further storage or use is only effected where you have given us and/or the respective company of the Jäger Group your explicit consent to the continued storage of your applicant data or in the event of a justified interest of the Jäger Group and/or the respective company e.g. as burden of proof in a court proceeding. If an employment and/or training contract is concluded with an applicant, the data are stored and processed for the performance and execution of the employment relationship and thus for contractual purposes.
6. Data processing in the Group
Based on the legal provisions, the Jäger Group implemented an internal privacy policy that regulates the protection of your personal data.
7. Storage time and deletion of data
The data transmitted to us by your browser are stored in our Server Log Files and deleted in regular intervals. The data that you provide us for further communication are deleted as soon as your request is completely clarified. If data are needed to be used as evidence, they are stored for the duration of the statutory limitation periods and/or until the procedure is terminated. The limitation period may be up to 30 years whereby the regular limitation period lapse after 3 years.
With regard to the deletion of applicants’ data, point 5.1 of this privacy statement shall apply.
8. Transmission of your data
We only pass on your data to third parties if – due to applicable law – we are authorized or obliged to do so. The same shall apply if we receive your data from third parties.
An authorization also exists if third parties process the data on our behalf : if we do not execute our business activities ourselves (e.g. operation of the website, preparing and sending of advertising material, data analysis and, if appropriate, data cleansing) but if we commission other companies with these tasks and if these activities are connected with the processing of your data, we previously bound these companies by contract to use the data only for those purposes for which we are legally authorized. We are authorized to control these companies in this respect. An obligation to disclose data exists for example if this is requested by a law enforcement authority.
9. Your rights
According to the GDPR you are entitled to:
- Receive information on the processing, correction or deletion of your data
- Limit the processing (only storage possible)
- Object to processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw the given consent with effect to the future
- File a complaint to the supervisory authority. Competent is the supervisory authority of the land Lower Saxony.

11. Summary of the Joint Control Agreement
- The background to the Joint Control Agreement is the operation of a centralized and shared IT system and thus the bundling of resources.
- Each company in the Jäger Group is responsible for provisioning newsletters and answering inquiries that are received via their respective company pages.
- On the website, Arnold Jäger Holding GmbH assumes the obligation to provide information in accordance with Art. 13 and 14 GDPR on behalf of the Jäger Group. With regard to data processing resulting from the use of the website each company is responsible for providing the information according to Art. 13 and 14 GDPR.
- Each company keeps its own Register of processing Activities (ROPA) according to Art. 30 GDPR.
- The Arnold Jäger Holding GmbH is the technical operator of the website and is responsible for the technical organizational measures. The other companies are responsible for the technical and organizational measures on site and the proper use of the access to the IT. The data processing of the data generated by the website is the responsibility of the respective company, which is responsible for the legality.
- The Arnold Jäger Holding GmbH is responsible for reporting data protection violations in accordance with Art. 33 GDPR. The other companies are obliged to report immediately if a data protection breach is suspected.
- The rights of data subjects are implemented by the Arnold Jäger Holding GmbH. However, every data subject is free to contact one of the companies listed in section 10 in this regard.
